For formal/informal students covering the original Shamail text by Imam al-Tirmidhi rh (Chapter 39 Prophetic Sleep onwards) with commentary based on Imam al-Bajuri's commentary to enhance their knowledge regarding Prophetic life, character and ethics

For formal (only) students of Kalam theology covering Tahdhib Sharh al-Sanusiyyah (pdf https://archive.org/details/Thahdib.Al-sanoussiya), an intermediate level text, focusing on Divine Unity and Attributes, the concept of Prophethood and revelation in tradition, based on an academic critique of the text.
Class Rules

Strictly no recording allowed.

Stay muted and all cameras must remain off.

Each student must login from their own device. No device sharing for attendance registration and q&a purposes.

Each lesson requires preparation before and revision after class and all students will be required to participate in answering questions and the in class polls, quizzes and informal assessments.

Students are required to mutually agree on a rota to recite the text in every lesson which can be set ahead of time and sent to the tutor with at least 2 persons ready to recite (in case of the absence of 1).

All students must enter a session mentally prepared to read the Arabic text ahead even if it is not their turn to read.

Tutors may remove disruptive attendees from class without warning.

You will require login from your desktop laptop/pc/mac rather than a mobile phone to ensure full participation in class.

Saving or downloading video/audio recordings on any device or platform is not permitted nor sharing to any other person or platform. The recorded material is exclusively and confidentially for the personal educational use of registered students of this course.
